About me

Vivian is a 30-year public school veteran who taught second and fourth graders, and now occasionally guest teaches Pre-5th grade learners. She’s received several teaching recognitions, including the 2014 Presidential Award for Excellence in Science Teaching. Since discovering Projects WET, WILD, PLT, and their supplemental curricula, 20+ years ago, she continues to incorporate and adapt the learning activities for a variety of audiences, settings, and purposes. A KEEC Certified Environmental Educator, she currently serves as the KAEE Board Treasurer, enjoys facilitating EE curriculum workshops, is an instructor for the KY Professional Environmental Educator Course, and is an education consultant for KAEE.
